The Be Good Tanyas (superb Canadian trio who were among the
headliners) did a guest slot at the Club Tent and were joined onstage by a
young visually impaired cornet player, Edmond Whitcomb, whose sensitive and
restrained playing brought the house down. He was playing quietly from the
Disabled enclosure, and was noticed and invited onstage by the group.
